This was certainly one of our favourite briefs because it was so close to our hearts. Vobis had been busy creating an investment proposition that reflected their ambitions as a leader in the sustainable investing space. Vobis has been advising creatives and entrepreneurs for many years, helping them to invest in businesses that drive change, and to use their wealth to create a sustainable future for all.
They needed a brand to reflect their passion and investment approach, and to tell their story through vibrant and inspiring visuals. To attract like-minded people, we needed to express the exceptional experience and impact the team brings to their clients. The theme was evolution and adaptation to meet the demands of an ever-changing world, all the more poignant in a post-Covid-19 environment. What a brief! So we went to work.
We engaged with PLOTT as we wanted to be defined as a wealth brand that aligned our cultural intent and values rather than the traditional financial services look and feel. Our expectations were exceeded, the PLOTT team delivered a positioning strategy that blew us away. The Vobis team now feel very proud of what we represent and it’s helped capture new business as well as further cemented our existing client relationships. I wouldn’t use another agency, ever… Bloody brilliant!
We started our journey with Vobis by talking extensively about how the business had evolved into a leader in impact investing. This was important to their investment clients. It became clear that Vobis wasn’t just a name, but the essence of the brand; Vobis means ‘to you’ in Latin. The phrase ‘WITY’ (‘What’s Important To You’) became the core message.
Back at the drawing board, we created a new identity for Vobis, with a colour palette that reflects their commitment to environmental and social funds. We developed an inspiring and ‘real’ tone of voice that shows a genuine understanding of their clients’ complex lives. The imagery and video choices included dramatic landscapes intertwined with real human experiences, which brings emotion and empathy to people and the planet, working and living together on their journeys. A brand that is both aesthetically and environmentally pleasing.
