Macbeth is a successful family business with an impressive thirty year history. It has grown into one of the leading insurance brokers and financial advisers in the Thames valley. When they came to us Macbeth had recently employed a new head of marketing, with whom we’d worked previously. That’s why we were approached – they needed a branding and website agency with a thorough understanding of the financial services market.
Their sector is growing more competitive day-by-day, and they needed an agency who could help the brand to position them as leaders in the field. At the time we were celebrating ten years of branding (with balls). Macbeth knew their brand had become dated, and the website failed to properly convey the current business. They needed a full rebrand to make the best of the next thirty years of business.
Through their excellent workshop PLOTT helped us to discover, and rediscover, who we are as Macbeth. At heart, we remain grounded in people and relationships. At every stage of the process PLOTT helped us define and shape our message, infusing the brand with warmth and reassurance at every touchpoint. Our branding workshop is the starting point. Our financial services specialism cuts the time we need to understand their industry, allowing us to get right to the heart of Macbeth. How does their differentiated approach address the challenges faced by the sector? We realised their business isn’t really about insurance and finances, it’s about people and relationships. This was a real breakthrough moment.
Meanwhile our illustrator created a graphic recording of the session. Capturing insights helps clarify and solidify the findings into coherent visuals, all done live in the workshop. We produced their strapline, “Protecting your world”, refreshed their identity and developed an all-new high performance website.
