At PLOTT we love a challenge. So we are joining fellow PLOTTER, Katie Hale, in her quest to raise vital funds for Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA).
We are ‘wearing in’ our walking boots ready for the 19th June when Katie, the PLOTT Team and a few close friends will be climbing Mount Snowdon, the highest peak in Wales.
Why choose MNDA? Well, Katie’s world was turned upside down last December when her husband, Terry, was diagnosed with the devastating disease.
What is MND? Motor neurone disease happens when cells in the brain and nerves, called motor neurones, gradually stop working. This causes the muscles to weaken, stiffen and waste. It is not known why this happens.
