We’re on the hunt for an Account Manager

We are looking for an addition to our team and have an exciting opportunity for a driven, highly organised and tenacious Account Executive/Manager.

We use WordPress for our web work, using highly customised installations, so experience with WordPress is vital. Much of your work will be focussed on web work, but we have loads of non-web work clients that you’ll be responsible for. These are projects with creative and artwork requirements, so you must be happy to mix it up and manage projects as necessary. 

You will be able to manage multiple projects at one time and provide ongoing support to our diverse client base.

You will have the opportunity to use your knowledge and expertise to help shape the role – we are a team who listen. We are looking for someone who can think on their feet. It goes without saying – but just in case – that you will be a natural when it comes to communication via all channels: email, phone and social.

Where we’re based:

Based near Sutton Coldfield at the Coppice retail village – home of The Fig & Olive – where there is a vibrant atmosphere and growing community of businesses, including an amazing foodhall and one of best restaurants in the region. Ample free parking, but you will need to have your own transport as we are not accessible via public transport.

Your daily routine will involve:

• Monitor client website projects, ensure there are no bottlenecks, manage the flow of work through the studio, ensuring work is on-brief and on time.
• Liaise with clients, and colleagues, by email, telephone, video, Basecamp, Click-Up and F2F on the progression of projects and obtaining data and information required.
• Identify any challenges team members face in completing their tasks and supporting them to find solutions.
• Quality control checking of all work carried out by the team to ensure accuracy.
• Make changes to client websites in WordPress.
• Take briefs from clients and manage from concept to completion and delivery, proofing all outputs before being supplied to the clients.
• Maintain strong client relationships by understanding their needs and consistently delivering high-quality work that exceeds their expectations.

What experience you will need:

• 2 year’s agency experience in a similar role.
• Experience of creating, delivering, managing and monitoring successful website development projects.
• Excellent client relationship management experience, and the skills and ability to maintain and develop client relationships.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills and experience interacting with senior stakeholders.
• Excellent time management, numeracy skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Good written, grammatical English and the ability to proof-read copy.
• Fluent and articulate in presentations conveying interest and enthusiasm.
• Excellent understanding and experience of the digital sector.
• A passion for learning new things and going above and beyond.

Ideally you’ll have:

• Experience in QA checking or otherwise have a very keen eye for detail.
• Some fluency with web-development terminology – you will know the difference between WordPress, Plugins, HTML, CSS, CMS, etc.
• Strong experience with the WordPress CMS.
• Experience with project management tools.
