Meeting up in a cloudy Birmingham, we jumped on a train up to Liverpool in time for the sun!
The first point of call was the Albert Dock and the Tate gallery. The main draw for us at the Tate was the incredible Keith Haring exhibition, the first ever in the UK. Keith was a part of the legendary New York art scene of the 1980s, inspired by graffiti, pop art and underground club culture. It was exciting for us as a creative bunch to really explore his work, from the beginning until his final piece of artwork before he sadly died aged 31.
