If you’re contacting an express freight service then time is of the essence, so we worked to develop a no-nonsense and information-rich tone for the website copy. Step two of the user journey is all about efficiency – giving the information you need quickly, and making the call-to-action obvious and easy to use. All of this good stuff is built on top of our very own WordPress based and super fast web platform. We always do the performance, page speed, security, accessibility, mobile responsiveness and SEO friendliness as standard. Because if your website isn’t doing all these things just what is it doing?
Performance in search engine results (SERPS) was paramount to the success of Express Van, and we can and absolutely will deliver a brilliant SEO ready website build of the highest quality. That said we don’t claim to be SEO experts, and we needed expertise. Simon engaged Super Digital to run his SEO and PPC (pay per click) campaigns. We like this way of working, we’ll liaise with the SEO folks and you get the best of both worlds.
During the work on the Express Van brand and website, Simon chose to further engage us for a brand refresh and web rebuild for the parent company, Simpex Express. First things first, our creative director Richard reworked the Simpex Express logo. This was an evolution, bringing the brand up-to-date with vibrant and gradient-free colours. We also decided the brand was mature enough to drop the “express freight” qualifier beneath the logo. Small changes, perhaps, but they make a big difference with respect to modernity.
