Coppice branches out with aspirational rebrand

Coppice remains a family business. It was conceived in 2012 when the family chanced upon a small, run-down garden centre. Charmed by the woodland setting, their imaginations ran with visions of the future. They decided then to buy the centre. The family are construction experts by trade. They bring their expertise to the site, ever-expanding and improving. This has led Coppice to be the retail village it is today. Grander yes, but still charming; Welcome to Coppice.

As some of you will know, PLOTT recently moved to our brand new office at Coppice. We had been working on a full brand refresh with Coppice while they had been working on their offerings. We brought the branding inline for each of their divisions – The Fig & Olive, Forage and Lifestyle.

We worked with the Coppice team to refine their offering and create a new website. We spent a lot of time working on a unique Coppice tone-of-voice. We put their fascinating history and many-layered offerings into words. As always we brought our expertise to bear on a professional image suite to use online and in print. This time we felt we had an unfair advantage because Coppice has so many lovely areas to photo. And many, so many, mouth-watering foodstuffs.

During this branding process we visited Coppice several times. Including a visit to The Fig and Olive for a delicious early morning breakfast for the PLOTT team. Well, we fell in love with Coppice and moved here this summer.

We’re proud of the work we’ve done for Coppice. Especially their new comprehensive website. Not only is it beautiful but it’s bursting with bespoke tech. Once on the site you can visit each of the Coppice divisions, or browse the on-site concessions. While on the site you can order food from Forage, or book a table at The Fig & Olive.

The user experience is much improved. We developed slick navigation and a well thought-out user journey. The proof is in the pudding, of course. We’re happy to report a significant uptick in visitor numbers. Returning visitors have also increased while the bounce rate has fallen.
