The PLOTT team caused a real BUZZ at the recent Birmingham Chamber of Commerce Spring Expo with their self-portrait competition. It gave attendees the chance to win their very own Avatar (plus lots of yummy chocolate).

‘Being one of many exhibitors we needed to stand out so we had a brainstorm in the studio and came up with lots of ideas to engage visitors – but the self portrait competition was the one that appealed to us all and was the most FUN.’
At PLOTT we are a highly creative team so we wanted to get the visitors to engage in a creative way and make ourselves memorable at the same time. With over 45 portraits on the day, we were spoilt for choice and amazed at the response and level of the entries.
The chance of winning a PLOTT avatar certainly caused a stir and they have become so infamous, Paul Faulkner, the Chamber of Commerce chief executive, even wants his own!
The Expo was certainly great brand awareness for us and with so many visitors it was a very cost effective way to promote our name.
Our winner!
It was certainly a tough choice but after a team vote in the studio the winning entrant was Ali Wylie from Brightest Bulb with her fab self-portrait.

‘We had some awesome entries but Ali’s was our clear winner with her bold, colourful, simplistic portrait. Hope you all agree!’

There was a great buzz in the room and we are delighted with how it went.
