I want to tell you a moving story.
It all began 10 years ago, more or less, when Anna Plotnek was joined by her brother Richard and together began PLOTT.

We spent the following decade at Coleshill Manor, a lovely estate with a long history. It’s a very beautiful estate with a combination of office types, some within the repurposed venerable old building and out-buildings, and some modern purpose-built offices. We made our home at Coleshill Manor and gradually developed our team over the decade.
Last month, at the beginning of September 2021, we left Coleshill Manor for the last time. I told you this story was moving. Or about moving.
We were feeling ambivalent as we left Coleshill for our new digs and, while it feels like the end of an era – end of part one if you will – we don’t want to talk of endings. No, this is the beginning of the next decade of PLOTT.
PLOTT Part two, if you will.
We’re delighted to have arrived at Coppice, the home of Forage and The Fig and Olive. We’re settling into our newly built office, which is spacious, airy and currently, pretty spartan. It’s just the way we like it – though we’ll put our personal touch on the decor in due time.
Richard and Anna put considerable time into the logistics of moving. Would it be too disruptive for our team? Does it add miles and therefore time in traffic for the team? We care about our team. What did they care about?
Is there room for the pool table?
Why move? Why now?
As with most big decisions it was a combination of things. None of which were enough of a reason individually, but enough, perhaps to plant a seed. Celebrating our ten year anniversary. A year or more of Covid weirdness. The coming of HS2 which is planned to bisect Coleshill Manor. Seeds.
Then we partnered with Coppice on their brand and website, during which we were invited to lease one of their new build offices. Coppice is a curated collective of offerings; Forage, The Fig and Olive, and other high-quality concessions. Coppice is a destination, open seven days a week; a vibrant and developing offering. It’s an exciting place to be, and along with the aforementioned seeds, we decided to make the move.
Thank you for reading, thank you for being with us over the last ten years. I hope you’ll continue with us for PLOTT Part two.
If you’d like to come and visit us, and take a couple hours out of your busy day, I’m sure you won’t regret it! We may even treat you to a tasty snack at the Fig & Olive.
