It’s been a busy summer at PLOTT, with plenty happening in the studio, lots of exciting client work and the usual deadlines to keep us on our toes.
But we’ve always believed that some of the best bits of agency life happen away from the Macs. So amongst all the work, we’ve made sure there’s been time for a bit of fun too.
For our summer team outing, we swapped the studio for the racetrack and headed to Lichfield for an afternoon of go-karting.
Competitive? Us? Never.
After plenty of irresponsible overtaking and some very serious racing, Richard took the top spot on the podium, with Ewan and Stuart coming in second and third.
We rounded things off with a few well-earned drinks in Lichfield. A brilliant afternoon and a chance to spend some proper time together away from work.
We also had a lovely blast from the past when Chris popped into the studio.
Chris was our very first employee, so it was brilliant to catch up, reminisce about the early days and hear what he’s been up to since.
A lot has changed over the years, but it’s always lovely when people who’ve been part of the PLOTT story come back through the door.
Possibly our proudest achievement of the summer. We won the Community Games Retro Games!
We’ve been huge advocates of the Community Games for many years and love supporting Dennis and the team and everything they do to get people moving and bring local businesses together.
Given that most of us spend a slightly alarming amount of our working lives sitting on our butts staring at screens, we’ll take any excuse for some welly wanging, egg and spoon racing and bouncing around on space hoppers.
Loads of laughs, some surprisingly fierce competition and, most importantly, the trophy came home to PLOTT. 🏆
It’s been a full-on few months, but that’s exactly why making time for things like this matters. Good work is important, but so are the people you do it with.
Here’s to a busy autumn. And to Richard not mentioning that go-karting win too often. 😉
