Over the years we’ve built our beautifully balanced team of artists, dreamers, techies and thinkers. Creatives all. And none more beautiful, albeit not necessarily entirely balanced, than Mark and Ashley. They’ve totally earned their places at PLOTT and they’ve earned their promotions too.

That’s right, they’re moving on up. Business can’t only be about making money, we’ve always believed it’s about giving back. Back to our communities, and back to our team. We’re delighted to be able to offer career progression within PLOTT.

Mark Christian, Head of Communications.
Mark’s been with us for seven years, or thereabouts. A stalwart, and our longest serving PLOTTER. Originally Mark joined as our Head of Web, responsible for all our front-end website development. He’s a passionate reader, with a love of writing and word play – really just a deep love for the English language and all things word related. Since 2016 he’s been developing his facility for writing. Over the last three years he’s been writing copy, social and blog posts for PLOTT and clients both. And so we’re delighted to announce that Mark is now Head of Communications for PLOTT.

His new responsibilities will see him take an active role in our legendary brand workshops, developing brand positioning, straplines and tone of voice. He’ll also be writing copy for print, digital and the web; continue overseeing our PLOTT blog; and all external comms.

Ashley Armstrong, Head of Web.
Ashley joined as a Website Developer in 2019. With excellent attention to detail and a flair for visual touches Ashley quickly proved his worth. Ash was employed initially as a front-end WordPress developer, but he has been developing his programming all the while, and is today a skilled application developer. This allows PLOTT to design and build with a wider scope of web technologies, examples include: using an EPOS API to build a bespoke gift card solution, an Android app for a large interactive screen, and currently an Events booking system integrated with WordPress. Ashley becomes our Head of Web, he’s earned it.

Ash will be overseeing all our web technical work, developing specifications, and turning client requirements into realities. He’ll be joined by Ewan, our new Junior Web Developer. Part of Ashley’s new role will be to guide and train Ewan, and together they’ll continue to deliver brand websites of the highest quality you’ll find.

The rest of the PLOTT team comprises brand experts Anna Plotnek, MD; and Richard Plotnek, Creative Director; and is rounded out by our talented new Graphic Designer, Alex; and by Jo, our new Accounts Manager. What a team!
